With the amazing progress of technology, ordering takeout has become incredibly convenient! The Chinese food delivery platform Meituan has brought in a driverless food delivery vehicle, which has significantly cut down delivery times and boosted efficiency.

Called Modai, this driverless delivery vehicle has a distinctive yellow and black design. It has four wheels and is smaller than an average four-seater car, giving it a really charming look.

Modai operates with stable driving technology, guaranteeing a smooth and speedy delivery process. It travels a bit faster than bicycles on non-motorized lanes. Standing at around 156 cm tall and weighing 500 kg, it's quite remarkable that a Modai can cover about 100 kilometers on a single charge and carry up to 100 kg of goods, enabling it to make multiple deliveries in one go.

Cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen have put in place policies allowing autonomous vehicles to carry out commercial trial operations in specific areas and times. This includes urban public transportation, taxi services, and logistics delivery, and the scale of application keeps growing.
