The lantern festival in Nansha has now become, to the best of our knowledge, the largest in China, not just in terms of the area it covers, but also in the number of sets and the length of time it lasts. This is the most extravagant lantern festival ever held in the Greater Bay Area! More than 1,000 artisans have put together an astonishing 218 sets of lantern displays, each with more than 10,000 individual lanterns. The lanterns cover a main route of over 3 km and an overall area of 870 acres. The festival will carry on until March 30, and all are invited to come and partake of the pleasures it has to offer!
