Wutongshan National Forest Park, located in the heart of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, spans an area of 42.04 square kilometers. Designated as a national scenic area in 2009, it is recognized as one of the top ten most beautiful forests in Guangdong. The park is a vital ecological barrier for Shenzhen, known for its coastal mountain landscapes and abundant natural vegetation.

Wutongshan rises gradually from west to east, with three prominent peaks. The highest of these, at 943.7 meters, is the highest point in Shenzhen. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the bustling Shenzhen cityscape in the summit, as well as a breathtaking vista of Hong Kong's Tai Mo Shan across the sea.

With a forest coverage rate of 88.6%, Wutongshan plays a crucial role in regulating the city’s climate, purifying the air, and maintaining ecological balance. It is also a natural ecological treasure trove, home to approximately 1,419 plant species, 231 animal species, and tens of thousands of insect species.

As season changes, the landscape of Wutongshan reveals different aspects of its beauty. Particularly from March to April each year, the mountain’s azaleas bloom in a dazzling array of colors, creating a stunning sea of flowers that attracts both visitors and locals for photography and enjoyment.
