Guangzhou Vesber Biotechnology Company, based in Nansha free trade zone of Guangzhou City, has successfully developed two  innovative products, namely Foldable Capsular Vitreous Body (FCVB)' and the 'Foldable Capsular Buckle (FCB), for treating serious retinal detachment.  

The implantation of the two products have been proven to be effective in retinal treatments with high surgical success rates and accelerate recovery for patients suffering from severe eye conditions which may lead to blindness.  

The FCVB is particularly notable as the world's first artificial organ designed to preserve the eyeball, recognized as one of the four major advancements in retinal detachment surgery. Its inventor, Gao Qianying, a former professor at the ophthalmology center of Sun Yat-sen University, emphasized that the innovative product allows patients to avoid multiple surgeries and significant pain associated with traditional treatments.
