The permanent site of Greater Bay Area Science Forum is expected to complete by 2025, further strengthening Nansha free trade zone’s position as a science and technology hub in GBA.
Covering approximately 100,000 square meters, the Greater Bay Area Science Forum includes an academic center, science and technology museum, innovation center, and other supporting facilities. The first phase of the construction project includes the academic center, museum, and some supporting facilities, spanning about 58,000 square meters with a total construction area of 93,500 square meters, comprising one underground and four above-ground floors.
The architecture features an irregular wave-shaped design, highlighted by a cantilevered structure extending up to 5 meters. This innovative design creates a dynamic appearance with horizontal and vertical variations.
Once completed, the Greater Bay Area Science Forum will be held here, aiming to attract international scientists and high-tech enterprises, fostering cross-border, interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhancing Guangzhou Nansha’s influence in the Greater Bay Area and globally.
