Legendary actor Chow Yun-fat is stepping into the spotlight with a new role—this time a photographer. From December 18 to January 2, he will showcase his passion for photography in a charity exhibition titled ‘Hong Kong‧Morning’ at the Exhibition Hall of Harbor City Ocean Terminal of Hong Kong.
The exhibition features 30 stunning photographs that capture the unique beauty of Hong Kong's mornings. They are divided into three themed areas. The ‘Fragrance’ area highlights flower photography, showcasing budding land lotuses and blooming yellow daisies, evoking a dreamy, oil painting-like quality. The ‘Hong Kong’ area depicts the vibrant early morning scenes in Central, featuring ladies in swaying skirts, diligent cleaners, and groups of office workers, all bustling through the city's awakening streets. The ‘Morning’ area includes four self-portraits where Chow Yun-fat skillfully blends himself into the images through glass reflections, portraying subtle interactions with his subjects.
Chow Yun-fat 's 30 photographic works will be available for purchase through a charity sale. Each piece is priced between HKD 2,800 and 28,000 and comes with his autograph. Proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to charity after cost recovery.
