The RedBall Project, a renowned public artwork by American artist Kurt Perschke, is set to arrive in Hong Kong from December 6 to 15, and open to daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Celebrated as ‘the world's longest-running street artwork,’ the RedBall Project has traveled to 48 cities since its debut in 2001, including notable stops in Paris, Chicago, London, and Tokyo. In Hong Kong, the project will encourage participants to interact with the giant red ball as it integrates into local architecture, prompting reflections on the cultural and historical significance of its surroundings.
Each day, the RedBall will move to a new location, inviting the community to engage with it from fresh perspectives. The project will coincide with Hong Kong’s Business of Design Week (BODW), enhancing the city-wide celebration with collaborations featuring local artists and brands to spark creativity and imagination.
Stay tuned for updates on the specific locations where the RedBall will appear, and enjoy this unique artistic experience!
