Hong Kong’s favorite annual musical event is back to energize the Central Harbourfront on November 16-17, 2024. This year, the concert expands from its traditional one-night-only format to include an exciting second night of festivities.

Under the direction of internationally acclaimed conductor Elim Chan, the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra will present a captivating blend of classic masterpieces and enchanting music inspired by fairytales. Highlights will include excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Dukas’ The Sorcerer's Apprentice (famous from the 1940 Disney film Fantasia), and a performance of Tsfasman’s Jazz Suite by pianist Chiyan Wong. The repertoire will also feature beloved pieces from Beauty and the Beast, Romeo & Juliet, and more, culminating in a stunning rendition of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture accompanied by a spectacular fireworks display.

Admission to Swire Symphony Under The Stars is free, but attendees must pre-register. For those unable to secure tickets, the first night of the concert on November 16 will be livestreamed on the HK Phil’s website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel, as well as broadcast live on RTHK TV 32 at 6:30 PM.
