Get ready for the "Fun@Museum Carnival," a vibrant two-day event marking the inaugural celebration of "Muse Fest HK 2024"! This year, the festival adopts the theme “Hong Kong H.A.S. Museums,” inviting attendees to embark on an exciting journey through the diverse museums of Hong Kong. Participants will have the opportunity to uncover the unique cultural narratives that enrich the city, showcasing the hidden gems of its heritage.
This carnival is a collaborative initiative by various cultural divisions within the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, including the Hong Kong Space Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Science Promotion Unit, Conservation Office, Intangible Cultural Heritage Office, Hong Kong Public Libraries, Film Programmes Office, Audience Building Office, and Music Office. Together, these sections aim to promote the rich tapestry of Chinese culture and the arts, reflecting the city’s diverse cultural landscape.
Kicking off the festivities, the "Vital Lion Dance" opening performance will take place on November 2 (Saturday) at 11 AM at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza C. This dynamic display of tradition and artistry will set the tone for the celebration. With approximately 70 exciting programs planned, the "Fun@Museum Carnival" promises an unforgettable experience filled with exploration, learning, and cultural engagement.
