The Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX) is an exciting platform for arts professionals to exchange ideas and engage in meaningful artistic dialogue. From October 14 to 18 2024, a variety of events will take place, across a number of iconic cultural and arts venues in Hong Kong.

The HKPAX logo features an "X," symbolizing the convergence of diverse cultures, fostering collaboration, and facilitating the exchange of a wide range of creative ideas. It shows the core attributes of “Xplore” (Explore), “Xperience” (Experience), “Xpress” (Express), “Xhibit” (Exhibit), and “Xchange” (Exchange).

Most events will be hosted in the West Kowloon Cultural District, a vibrant arts hub featuring performance venues, museums, green spaces, and dining options, all complemented by a scenic waterfront promenade. Additional venues include the prestigious Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Tai Kwun, Asia Society Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Arts Centre.

To foster cultural understanding, inspire creativity, and encourage potential collaboration, HKPAX also offers an optional tour to Guangzhou and Shenzhen—two major cities in the Greater Bay Area that are shaping China’s arts scene.
