The most anticipated Hong Kong’s mega cycling event—The Hong Kong Cyclothon 2024 is just around the corner! Staging on October 13, for the first time, the finish line for the 32 km and 50 km rides will be located in West Kowloon, with extended routes and a new carnival there.
The route also includes the Sha Tin Heights Tunnel for the first time. The 50 km ride will start at Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and finish at the Jordan Road Flyover, taking participants across the Tsing Ma, Ting Kau, and Stonecutters bridges, as well as through the Cheung Tsing, Nam Wan, and Eagle’s Nest tunnels. The 32 km ride will share the same start and finish points as the 50 km ride, allowing cyclists to pedal past the International Commerce Centre and over the Stonecutters Bridge, with the addition of the Ting Kau Bridge for the first time.
After the rides, participants can enjoy the vibrant Cyclothon Carnival at Wonderland in the West Kowloon Cultural District. This space is designed for relaxation and entertainment, featuring active recovery programs, stage performances, fun photo zones, a mini cycling-themed expo, and a delightful coffee and dining experience. The carnival is open to all, including cyclists, their friends and families, and guests from near and far!
