Baseball5 is an exciting new format of baseball that features fast-paced five-on-five play, easily enjoyed on any flat surface with just a rubber ball. This October, Hong Kong proudly welcomes the WBSC Baseball5 World Cup for the first time, taking place at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from the 7th to the 12th. As an official “M” Mark event, it will showcase 12 mixed-gender teams hailing from five continents: two teams from Africa, three from the Americas, three from Asia, two from Europe, one from Oceania, and the host team from Hong Kong, China, all vying for the prestigious title of World Champion.

Over the course of six action-packed days, the tournament kicks off with an electrifying match between Lithuania and the defending champions, Cuba. Baseball5 is a dynamic street version of traditional baseball, played over five innings, making it accessible and fun for everyone. Moreover, Baseball5 is on the rise, having recently been included in the lineup for the 2026 Youth Olympics, marking a significant milestone in its journey toward global recognition.
