Monthly fireworks displays and drone shows over the Victoria Habour of Hong Kong will be staged from May 1st, 2024. Across the city, similar shows will be held as part of the Night Vibes campaign.
The first fireworks display for the Labour Day Golden Week will be held at the East Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade on May 1, which will be followed by a drone show on May 11 over Victoria Harbour. The shows both will be 10-minutes-long and begin at 8pm. Labour Day ‘golden week’ is expected to bring an influx of mainland tourists from across the border and these shows hopefully will help enhance the experience in Hong Kong and make the night vibes better.
The show might not be regularly held on a specific day in a month, and it could coincide with mega events or festival celebrations. Followed by another series of events in June to coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, a drone show has been scheduled on June 10, then a fireworks display on June 15 for the Dragon Boat Festival.
